INTRODUCING

LIZZIE CARR

Lizzie Carr is Britain’s best-known paddle boarder, a blogger, adventurer and activist, and founder of Plastic Patrol. In 2016 she was the first person to complete the 400-mile journey the length of England’s inland waterways from Surrey to Cumbria by Stand Up Paddleboard. Her goal was also to raise awareness about pollution by plotting every piece of plastic she came across, to show people how we can clean up our waterways and appreciate the outdoors. In 2017, she took on another world-first challenge by crossing the English Channel by SUP, an event followed by Sky News. Her exploits have been covered in The Guardian, The Times and by the BBC. Her book is an Amazon number one bestseller.
