Catherine Burns
Catherine Burns was born in Manchester, graduated from Cambridge, worked as a bond trader in the City of London before studying at the Moscow Institute of Film and teaching film theory at Salford University.
THE VISITORS, her first novel, was published simultaneously in the UK (Legend Press 2017), the US (Scout Press/Simon & Schuster) and Australia and New Zealand (Hachette), and in audio (Oakhill), and translation editions followed in Croatian (Znanje), Czech (Alpress) and Spanish (Panamericana). It reached #1 on Kindle on Amazon UK for Crime/Suspense/Horror, was a Books Etc Book of the Month and the New York Post chose it as one of their weekly must-read books.
