Sarah Outen MBE

Sarah Outen MBE broke world records when she became the first woman and the youngest person to row solo across the Indian Ocean. She then undertook a journey around the planet by human power only, kayaking some of the most treacherous waters in the world and cycling across North America during one of the harshest winters on record.

DARE TO DO (Nicholas Brealey/Orion) was shortlisted for the Wanderlust Adventure Travel Book of the Year and was featured in various media including The Times and The Telegraph.

HOME: THE FILM, based on the story that inspired DARE TO DO, premiered in 2019 and won awards including Best Film in Exploration and Adventure at the Banff Mountain Film Festival.
